I like to use my desktop for most things. Can I use Airdata on my desktop or does it need to be on my phone/tablet that I am using when flying my Mini 2?
If I can use my desktop how to I download the data to my flights to Airdata on my Desktop?
For me, I know where the DJI Fly FlightRecords folder is on my phone, and that it has the DJIFlightRecord files in it (one file per flight).
I either copy the files to computer then use the AirData MyLogs Upload webpage, and tell it which file or files I want to send.
OR I use a web browser on my phone and go to the same AirData MyLogs Upload webpage, then show it which file or files I want to upload. I have to be careful to not let the phone go to sleep for the few minutes it takes to upload.
I used to use the app on my phone but I find it more reliable / I have more control, by using their webpage.
This, for me, too … but the different apps, and even different versions of the same app … and iOS/Android seem to move things around, so I gave up suggesting where they can be found.
Also - my drone phone hasn’t been connected to the internet for about 4 years - so my personal experience isn’t … “normal”.
The other advantage of copying to computer and then uploading from there is that you end up with your own backup of every flight. Have every one for my MP logs back to Nov 2016.
Yes - you could still do that after the auto update, but chances are you’d miss out copying some to your backup. #ILoveBackups
When you have so many full drives and so many duplicates/triplicates/nnlicates (where nn is an unknown, but is definitely an unnecessarily large number) and you can’t work out which duplicates to delete (or, at least, you can never find the time to work that out) such that you end up buying more storage that really shouldn’t be needed.
That’s where.
It was all looking peachy, until the AirData app uploaded half a log and kind of forgot where it got up to. From then I went full manual. It was around the time I was fishing around trying to find enough km to show for the GADC 500km award
