Airfield distance clarification

Hi,

I just want to clarify the airfield rules regarding distance for under 250G drones.

I recently read in 2019 a 5KM no fly zone rule was introduced.

When I check near me I know we have a small airfields called “Cranfield” near Milton Keynes however on https://dronescene.co.uk/ it appears the no fly zone is not 5KM wide.

Is this because this is not a major airport and am I safe to go with the data on dronescene?

Don’t confuse real CAA Flight Restriction Zones with the DJI “No Fly Zones”, they are very different things.

Using the measuring tools built in to Drone Scene, it looks like it’s 5KM to the end of the flight/runway path:
