Albion Drones wins the acclaimed Drone Show Showreel Awards

Thanks Dave, much appreciated

Lol John, there were many hours of footage not up to sratch, so I guess the improvement I need is to be more consistent in my captures…

I appreciate the compliment, but it isnt perfect, nothing artistic ever is in the eyes of the artist, we see the flaws that others do not, but that is what drives us to improve more…

I think 2024 will be the year of getting to grips with the AVATA for me, I have some ideas on things I want to try and capture, not neccessarily fast or whoops, but more a cinematic FPV look to augment the camera drones…

Lol, thanks…

Thank you… the cameos are not planned, just where I am able to fly from and capture what I am shooting, and tbh there are only 6 clips where I can be seen…

I thought so. I do hope my comment doesn’t send you into hiding!

Well, there’s the problem when you set yourself such a high bar to begin with!!! You should have done what I still continue to do and produce absolute crap, the only way is up for me

Perhaps, I much prefer to be behind the camera tbh…

Lol, anyone who get off their ass and gets into drones produces something worthwhile, I slaute anyone brave enough to stick with it and overcome the anxiety of sending hundreds of pounds of kit into the air!

I do not believe for one second what you produce is carp

Congratulations Suzanne. An excellent show reel and well deserved win!

Thank you, still amazed by it all…

Perhaps I will enter some more competitions…

A professional photographer once told me that to get that one prize shot that he can sell he would probably take around 400 shots to get it, click click click and hope for the best!

With the great content you are producing, why not. I have joined the Airvuz community. Some very inspiring content on there and all the videos you upload automatically get submitted into the drone video of the week/month competition. Good luck.

Thanks Adrian, muchly appreciated…

True, better too much footage than too little, even if it makes chosing the bits to incclude more difficult on the editing side…

Yup, I am on there, have had some featured on Drone TV and 3 video’s have been Staff Pick’s, but not made the Drone Video of the Week yet… Would be nice to do so, but,

Well done!!

Well done, Suzanne - I’m still in awe of something as apparently simple as that ferry shot!
