Thanks Howard, tbh the ferry was not that difficult to do, fly out to a point where it was filling the screen and then a tracking pan and follow for a whileā¦ I could have done more, but I was flying the MINI 3 Pro, only a few days after it was delivered (care refresh from a crash the week before) and was at about 450m over the sea and with a fairly stiff breeze, so didnt want to push it - especially as it was at the beginning of the holiday and I had a full week of flying still to doā¦

Watching Alan Titchmarsh on Love Your Weekend while having breakfast and a very interesting drone footage appeared which caught my attention. Very nice shots which I think were the Isle of Sky although I may be mistaken. Great selection of scenery and music with fly away shots, vertical shots, etc etc all things we aspire to do. Then dear old Alan appears and says thank you to Albion Drones for supplying the footage.

We were lucky with the weather for the Skye trip, which made capturing it all the easier, I was hoping to do some flying last week during half term, but the weather wasnt up to it, so I will have to try and get flying locally for a bit in preparation for our next Scotland trips in April and June

Thank you David, those are kind wordsā¦ TBH I would say that anyone can do the same as we do, just takes some practice and attention to detail, and if you are coming from a photography background then you already have the composition, exposure and colour grading skills you need, it is just then adding the editing and the videography / flying to the mix
Give it a go, you may well surprise yourself
Still working and weather up here is very changeable as you knowā¦so have so many projects on the back burner.
If youāre back up in Scotland again let me know and I mightā¦might being the operative word be able to meet up and fly some drones.

I thnk I have a touch of ADHD/ADD and ASD, which is why I have the hyperfocus, if I want to learn something I can focus entirely on it and learn it quickly, if I am not into it, then wild horses cant make me learnā¦

Hey, at least you know about it, learning can be frustrating but persistence is Kingā¦ Maybe April or July we can meet on your way up, Iām just off the M74 at Junction 8.
