I have just added this to the map of places to fly your drone at Drone Scene - Location # 855

Land owner permission not required.

Crown Property so permission not needed.
Plenty of pull-ins along the coast road.
Beaches are sparsely populated but just be aware of Dog walkers etc.
Scenery is stunning and massive skies.
Can get quite windy so you have to choose your flight days care4fully.

The originator declared that this location was not inside a Flight Restriction Zone at the time of being flown on 27/09/2020. It remains the responsibility of any pilot to check for any changes before flying at the same location.

Hi @Brigadier. You done well to fly here, mate given the weather lately on the coast. Lovely area this. Maybe the wrong time of year but they used to do fantastic ice creams in Allonby! Great photo though. It does look a really calm day.

You have obviously been here and know just how windy it can get.
Luckily for me when I got the picture the wind was only gusting at about 12mph.
It really does give some stunning shots if you are lucky enough to get the sun shining.
