Grey Arrows Drone Club members are cordially invited to join representatives of No. 3 Flying Training School on the afternoon of Thursday 29th August 2024 at RAF Cranwell in Sleaford with the aim of developing better engagement between military and civilian flying operations in Lincolnshire.
This invitation is reserved for our Members and our Insured Members only; club Associates are not eligible to attend.
Upon arrival you will join representatives to discuss details of the Prefect T1 and Phenom T1 operations and how they may affect you flying in Lincolnshire.
Subsequently, you will be shown around the respective aircraft and given exposure to the RAF synthetic training equipment (simulators), both of which should help you to increase your understanding of the nature of what they do.
During your visit, Ascent Flying Training will provide light refreshments. A more detailed programme of events will be provided nearer the time.
Places are limited and will be assigned on a strictly first come first served basis.

Whilst its no where near me. Can I just say what a wonderful offer by the RAF and well done Grey Arrows for organising. This seems a fantastic way to build mutual respect and understanding. Plus an amazing opportunity for flight fans to see what many dont see.
Ive been lucky enough to experience something similar in Yeovil and it was facinating.
What a fantastic offer. I would have loved it and it isn’t far from me but unfortunately I can’t do that date. I hope all that do go have a wonderful time.
It had to be the afternoon of Thursday 29th didn’t it?? Unfortunately I can’t get because I have my driving test on this day, I would have loved to come and met some if not all of you. Just that I have my driving test on the 29th.
