I assumed that was a seat in that cage for a real person to sit in at that price 
Couldn’t you just 3d print a spherical cage and punt it around a Mavic 2 Pro and save a bunch of change?

I am still recovering from the shock of looking at the price of a 960GB SSD for an Inspire 2 which can be had for the bargin price of circa £1400+. This is approxiamtely 10 x what it would cost for a high quality PC SSD of similar capacity. The essential difference being the case which hardly warrants a price hike of £1K+. And of course you can’t read it without a new reader and then there are the licences for software … .
Then there’s the markup on batteries.
This is the DJI FPV Drone battery in all its glory.
And this is a similar capacity 6S Lipo using the same cells. .
The difference is the second one sells for less than £24 and Hobbyking still make a profit.
There’s no way on this Earth or Fuller’s that a simple BMS and cheap plastic container merits more than £100 increase.
