Another Newby in Oxfordshire

Hi everyone. Just passed my licence quiz and paid the fee. Ready to go flying with a 2nd user DJI mini2. I’m mainly hoping to use it as a flying camera to increase my viewpoint of places your allowed to fly. Using JPEG and Raw files into a commercially available software package for cropping and enhancing. I’ve added a 256 SD card to the drone. What’s the best way of transferring, I see you can turn the drone into a wifi spot, or do your veterans pop the card out and download to PC via a reader? Happy flying

It’s way faster for data transfer, it saves you wasting any drone battery power, and stops your drone overheating - not all models have cooling fans in them

This

Or fast transfer to my iPhone then same to Mac

Horses for courses, just do the same as you do with other camera gear

Good point about not using up valuable flying battery. Cheers.

Thanks for the info. I guess I’ll run out of 3 batteries before I fill up my 256 SD card, so yes wait until I get home and pop it into a reader. I also use iPhone & mac like you. I use PhotoScape X to fettle the DNG photos it free for the basic version does all I need to.
