Another Yorkshire lad here

Introductions

Hi, just joined this great club, although I’ve been a drone owner for a few years.
I currently have a DJI Mavic Air, which I would love to upgrade but I don’t think that would go down well with swmbo.
I have a few other fairly nondescript drones and several helicopters, some of which I can actually fly :scream:
I live in South Yorkshire but haven’t been flying that much recently for various reasons, so I hope to rectify that as soon as I can.
Having read through a few of the threads on here I can see that there are some very knowledgeable members, so I will no doubt be asking some stupid questions in the weeks to come.

Have you seen our members map? (Click the burger-menu in the top right) You may find some pilots living near you. Feel free to add yourself to the members map too :+1:t2:

We’re a well established club with many knowledgeable members so it’s very likely that any issues you come across will have been discussed here before. Our discussion forum has very powerful search features which should help you find what you need but if you get stuck you can post a new question in the #questions-and-answers category.

Keep an eye on the meets section. the Yorkshire contingent often meet up for a fly and natter

Welcome, I have a MM, not done a great deal of flying yet, due to lockdowns etc. Just familiarising myself with the site again, there are a lot of useful features on here I’m sure you’ll enjoy finding out about.
