The matek has a compass, useful for planes, don’t need for quads and it possibly does pick up signals better
I think the one you had on order had a barometer etc as well as gps? The TBS one is just GPS but Ive not had any issues with mine and it seems to acquire sats really quickly too
Seems neither the flight controllers you looked at have barometers. My H7 does. Would have worked lovely if I knew not to conformal coat a barometer…

This past month has crippled me financially, not just christmas, but lots more too. But tomorrow’s pay cheque is mine … all fecking mine. The wife, kids and all other money grabbing leeches in this world can take a ticket.
I cba with a ticket, just gonna order some TBS GPS units, a few spare Mamba ESCs and always fancied some 2207 Xing2 motors from UMT… Actually on that last point, might be worth ordering a 5th if they got any, I struggled so bad when I needed one replacement motor to get the same one!! Though tbf the xing2’s are very popular and well stocked… Still… 
Yeah I know the feeling well mate. Washing machine chooses its own work schedule at the moment so needs replacing, my boy needs £900 of work doing on his car to pass its MOT (he has around £4 to his name so you can guess whos paying that bill 
). Then Christmas on top lol
Sorry to be the bearer of bad news Chris, this means nothing these days with RM - I sent a RMSD on 5/12, no delivery attempted until 8/12 (no strike days between those dates). Tried claiming for the postage as it should have been guaranteed next day delivery, but it got rejected immediately as they’re not liable for any delays (even RMSD) at the mo
He’s ordering LiPo batteries in the order, will need a courier, so should be good for a sat delivery… For some reason RM don’t take them at all.

Good point, but even DPD (usually the best courier IMO) are experiencing delays of between 1-3 days in many areas DPD service disruption - though TBF Wiltshire is off their bad list right now (was on it earlier in the week)
All the money you lot spend on FPV you should open a shop
