Has anyone managed to get to link their goggles to their phone?? …
I’ve downloaded a couple of apps but none of them seem to work. I’m definitely using a data cable as to link to my phone as I use the same cable to play the sims on Pc …

Which model goggles?
I used to use DigiView for my DJI V2s looks like this:
Strange question but do you have to have your goggles and controller connected to get a picture ???
Which model goggles?
V2
I don’t have the DJI controller I use a tango 2 so I’m guessing that no you don’t. As I don’t connect my controller to the goggles via the vista/air unit.
I’ve tried it. Quad needs to be armed (high power mode) and use the proper OTG adapter. Had to plug the adapter in the phone end. It’s not the best and a bit of latency
I have mini c to mini c ??
some usb cables don’t have a data wire and are purely for charging these won’t work. it needs to have the data line as stated above you need an OTG adaptor or cable
I do this frequently I connect the goggles to my iPhone and open the Dji fly app on the phone it goes straight into a secondary view replicating what I see through the goggles
I have tried several times to get this working - have also tried fpv-dvca as recommended by Oscar Liang but never got this one to work at all.
So - today… I finally got it working on an old Samsung Galaxy S9. I tried standard USB-C cable, this did not work. I got hold of an OTG adapter ages ago and this didn’t work either. I bought another one on Shamazon today… works perfectly!
The OTG adapter has to be at the phone end for it to work. I have a USB-A to USB-C cable that goes from the adapter to my (V2) goggles. Somewhat surprisingly it works for both my Vista based quads and my new O3 one too - bonus.
I have a couple of sets of the old ‘VR’ goggles that you stick your phone in, going to try and bodge the lens so it works for a single image on the screen. Give passengers the best view.
Ok cheer for the update just tried it as I have a S9 and used a mini c to mini c data cable but nothing???.
Am I missing something here??? Does it just pop up on ur phone or do you use an app ??!..
I love it when a bodge comes together…
That’s the back end of my very first Eachine box goggles (with the lens) and a box made from foam board and hot glue. The focal length had to be quite long so it’s not gonna win any sleekness awards, but it gives a lovely crisp image and should be perfect for passenger rides, which I’ve not been able to do with the digital kit before now.
Would you know if you Can you do this with IPhone yet ??? Would be great if you could get on a tablet And would you have link to OTG please…
Still nowt for iOS afaik - hence running it on one of my wife’s old Samsung phones.
This is the OTG adapter I am using…

Sorry - missed this. This is using the Digiview app. You can download the apk installer file from here:
(Under downloads section)
I never managed to get it to install from Play Store so installed using the apk file. You’ll need to go into android settings / security and tick ‘allow third party apps’ (exact location will depend on Android version) and you can then install the Digiview app.
I believe it needs a live feed from a camera going to the goggles. Run the app, then connect the goggles and it should work (That said, this is probs the 10th config I’ve tried and this is first time I’ve got it working!)
Ok cheer buddy, I already have the App on the phone sounds like I was all most there but unlike you just didnt persivere
Just brough the OTG from amazon and should land tomorrow I will let you know
Good luck - keep me posted. I just tried flying using it…. Not my best idea. Is pretty laggy, but that’s to be expected, will be perfect for bringing someone along for the ride though.
I was using this same setup ages ago to live stream my flights to twitch
