If only you knew someone with a brand new Mini 3 Pro that could be used to follow it back
The squadron would need to be on standby for and emergency scramble.
Plus I was elbow deep in green algae at the time (cleaning out a water feature)
I know someone with a drone not far from you
Na, wasn’t in your direction
It won’t, @JonD as Remote ID isn’t a requirement in the UK (yet).
They do work but only on Android and only if the drone is transmitting RID
Currently only the latest DJi drones like the Mini 3 are capable, but in the U/K there is no current legislation for them to so they aren’t transmitting
Unless you know a way to force them to
Plus if it was still the old mavic it wouldn’t have had drone ID capability anyway.
Ah failed at the first hurdle, was on a iOS device.
This should be fun:
Particularly:
This spawns 16 different fake drones broadcasting RemoteID, with them all flying in random directions around a particular GPS location.
It also highlights what a farce the entire Remote ID thing is.
Can u not get them to fly in a formation that spells out fuck u on the receiving station screen
I will test it later will let you know if it works
Sorted
Nice … Chaff for Drones !
Could have some fun here watching NT trust staff run after them.
Like having your own radio controlled NT robot to play with. See how many laps of the car park you can get them to do.
I’m assuming that because Aeroscope packets are actually embedded into the telemetry itself and not a WiFi band or separate protocol its not as easy to spoof that?
@gnirtS it’s possible to spoof DJI Drone ID (for AeroScope) - details here:
How about “BMFA”
