Atti mode on DJI Mini 2

Definitely iOS I’m getting issues with iPhone 11 but solid as a rock with my old Galaxy S6, just tried both again tonight…

Just an update, I’ve been flying today with iPhone 11 and iPad mini 4 today with no issues which is strange because I have had no updates whatsoever or at least what I know of.

Has the issue been resolved for other mini 2 owners who experienced the problem?

It appeared for me last week, never experienced it previously.

Says atti mode, yet still lots of satellites locked (green icon), seems to control the same etc.

It does seem to be a random issue Chris, very strange

I flew my Mini 2 for the first time this morning, with the latest firmware, and it was a dream (compared to the Mini 1). No disconnects and no issues with ATTI mode. Flew for about 20 minutes.

I haven’t flown my mini 2 at all this year :cold_sweat:

Not even indoors?

No

I have a Parrot Mambo for indoors, haven’t even flown that.

Weather looks dry tomorrow morning, might go for a quick flight🤞

Been messing around and I think the problem lies with the iOS fly app being a little too demanding on the phone or tablet. I always fly the Mavic 2 Zoom with the iPad mini 4 and never had any issues but when using the Fly app on the mini 2 my iPad mini 4 has a warning coming up saying maximum CPU and if I try screen recording at the same time the video gets very choppy.

My iPhone 11 handles the Fly app well even when screen recording at the same time but yesterday I had the Atti mode warning again even with plenty satellites but no issues at all this morning although I did restart the phone before flying.

I experienced my first Atti Mode yesterday on my Mini 3 nearly 1.5 miles out to sea.

I brought it safely back to dry land but I suppose it’s good practice to have experienced that scenario.
Not sure what caused it as I fly in that particular area very regularly with no previous issues.

My grandma what good eyes you have

My glasses are amazing! :joy:

IOS users winge more
