Coming home from a trip to Norfolk, we crossed the Mersey in glorious sunshine. Couldn’t resist passing the Runcorn Bridge without popping the drone up for some shots of the bridge and Spike Island

Nice pics, I haven’t seen the old bridge without the coverings on for a long while. I suppose its not far off completion.

Are the last 2 near Wigg Island?

Opposite side of the river to Wigg Island - they’re next to the Catalyst Museum at Widness - Spike Island

Ps is the area around the museum good for take off? I know it well so may visit at some point.

I took off from the area near to the locks (actually on Spike Island) - plenty of space there (away from people and swans). I actually used a manhole cover as a launch pad as the grass was a little long elsewhere
