Im thinking about managing my Mavic batteries better in the respect of cycling them, i have four batteries for my M2P but I don’t think i have ever used more than two batteries in one session (yet) i find myself charging up all four but only using two and its almost criminal to then see them discharge themselves on a full charge.
A simple solution is to number the batteries 1-4 and cycle them for example use 1 & 2 one day and 3 & 4 on another until such a time arises i might want all four to expand the life cycle of these expensive batteries.
My questions to everyone here is what have you used to number the batteries and where… reason i ask is because i have a degree of OCD in me and a bit of a tackle tart so i want something discreet and not on show but also that looks professional and not like a 3 year old just wrote 1-4 with a sharpie pen on the batteries somewhere.
Seeing as that thread is over 2 years old, I was mainly linking to it for the concept, rather than anticipating that the same ebay listing would still be live.
Searching for similar on ebay might work? … and since you have the M2P, rather than the MP, those would probably not fit correctly anyway?
I saw the date stamp and chanced my arm… love and behold its still active but as far as the type of drone they are made for admittedly didn’t even give that a thought, worst case i would have “made it fit”
Hi,
You can do also simple test on each battery by pressing button for 5 sec so you will see estimated life…
4 green down do 1, number of cycles can be checked on screen when you connect RC to drone
Or you already know that so please ignore this ;))
its cool @Michal, i was more interested in actually labelling the batteries, but soon when the new legislation comes into effect we have now got to label our aircraft with our operator ID number so no doubt labels will become a common thing to purchase and probably will be supplied as a kit or something.
Is it not fairly easy to print a sticky label with stuff on, done in Photoshop, or Word, or whatever? It doesn’t need to be waterproof because the Mavic shouldn’t be allowed out in the rain.
