Had to see what all the fuss was about with this place, so myself and @Howard78 made the trip across the pennines to see @PingSpike and @SparkyFPV this morning
Loved it, loads of space, no bother from anyone and a pretty good breakfast in the cafe too.
Great for FPV and flying cameras too

I wasn’t on doggy day care duty today so I was able to fly rather than just run an excited wolf around a field all day like I do at most meet ups

The amount of metadata it captures is pretty good, the FLIR tools software can pick out the dew point and humidity values too. Still finding / stumbling my way around it.
That carpark looks like a winner.
It is absolutely a great place, nice flat landing zones for wings, and as you say not a lot of bother from anyone. Been there loads, glad you guys came over for it

This does look like a good location for us with the parking of the car so close…
I’ll add a parking and flight marker to beacon golf , it’s a minute away
Added a marker for the country park next door to the golf course you can fly from the boot of your car, golf course is a minutes drive away
