It’s a shame cos i liked the look of that.

AHH Karl has one now and Craig from DC has one. The frame was more glue than foam anyways. Whole flight I had little pitch authority (and tingly level had the pitch down at like 20% to fly level. Assume a servo or linkage had slipped. I should have been fine and it was switching to angle and back to manual close to landing it went wrong. All my fault. Was a bit tired tbh, but meh. Knew it’d be a mess when we found it and indeed it was. I laughed as it happened like “oh bum that’ll be bad”

I was going to replace the air frame this year anyways, possibly with a VTOL version, not sure ATM. Need to check the vista first as that’s 150 quid…

This crap happens…all part of the hobby. Had a very lucky 2023, about time I had an expensive crash tbh

I would just like to land mine once.:rofl::rofl:

Horizon is now off. Got a few days to play with some other settings.

Sad to see it in that state though. :disappointed_relieved:

IT FLIES, and LANDS,
up early this morning to avoid the dog walkers and tourists and higher winds.
Got Sacha out of bed as a lucky mascot.

and launched that bloody wing in the air…

This is a long one

It flew, and i landed NOT CRASHED the wing even not too far from me. Sacha thought he may have to catch it so started running for it, you will see him at 7.30 (i told you it’s a long one) slightly to the right of my signal strength of 53. the landing looks rougher than it was as Sacha said it looked quite smooth.

You can tell i was happy i punched the air.
unfortunately didn’t get a full auto tune done as the wind picked up. will do another at a later date.
