Beginner wing build

can anyone send a pic of how the battery leads look on the speedy f405 stack. i understand the battery plug but can not seem to get my head round what i need. part link to hobby rc for parts would be good.

I’ll send you a pic of mine. Oh wait… :man_facepalming:t2:

But I’ll do you a solid :+1:t2:

it’s the least I can do after all your help trying to find my wing. :+1:t2:

and what do the other 2 leads on the board do

ESC power connection for the motor. :+1:t2:

so what does that mean .this is the bit i do not understand

ESC stands for Electronic Speed Controller. it’s a separate board that is used to send instructions to the motor.

I have this one in my Mobula Wing (the pic above)

but as a beginner builder I’d suggest buying a PNP Wing Kit as this will come with the correct motor(s), ESC, Servos and prop(s) :+1:t2:

i got the PNP so i do not need to put one of them in cheers for the help.

You will need an ESC if it has a motor.

What kit did you buy? got a link?

Post the Pictures of what you have @jcbdriver Eric and any links to where you got it

So yes that will come with an ESC it will have a red and black wire coming off it and 2 thin black and white wires twisted together with a 2pin connector on the end of it and on the other side there will be 3 wires :+1:t2:

i have not opened it yet so i may need to LOL

Have you decided if you’re going to FPV it?
