Berkhamsted - Added to English Heritage in East of England

I have just added this to the map of places to fly your drone at Drone Scene - Location # 908

Land owner permission not required.

On the opposite side of the entrance, on the side of the road, you can park and take off easily. You can fly around the castle I you can fly without by issues and outside the boundaries of the castle.

The originator declared that this location was not inside a Flight Restriction Zone at the time of being flown on 02/01/2021. It remains the responsibility of any pilot to check for any changes before flying at the same location.

Thank you @Mind_the_gap for adding to the DroneScene map

I’ve been wanted to do it for a while.

It has a nice grassy area outside, so you can keep the 50 meters of distance easily.

Very nice, but it is not in the south west

Hey Ian, thank you for pointing that one out. I’m actually a bit unsure as to where to add it. Am I right to say that is not midlands neither?
By the way, is there a way to change it on dronescene? I do not see the option.

We try to base our Drone Scene regions for England on these boundaries:

Thank you Rich,

I appreciate that. I will use it for further ones.

Updated - Hertfordshire falls into East of England. :+1:

Typo for Berkhamsted corrected, too.
