@milkmanchris The MA2 was Max altitude As it was a little bit windy. So my thinking was the higher the windyer Only other way to increase in that is to dive maybe? However with the FPV… Manual mode it is then this Sunday to get max speed
93 is the target
Congrats on the new Air 2S record!

I had 105mph out of my custom build today I’m nipping at @notveryprettyboy top spot, 105mph with no wind hopefully get it in the air on a more windy day and hopefully I’ll get closer to beating it
I also need to get my GPS module soldered up onto my Nazgul5 V2
Cheers Rich
I’m coming for you @notveryprettyboy
If he dies…
@H1net I think my speed record may get smashed with your setup
Yeah not a clever choice by me, You’re likely safe. I did have some fun tonight though as I couldn’t wait. Torque not there, but power on 5” is a clear mistake with that thrust to weight but also hard to tell without the GoPro mount. I’d be afraid to (and definitely will) open it up in clear airspace after work tomorrow. I’m in CTR here. Ultimately will allow me to practice my manual mobility while I get my arduino prototype multi-launch mechanism off my bench. Then I’ll transition it to a rig with whatever spares survive from this first build FPV exercise and mash them with the so far unused GPS and VL53L0X sensor to play with the LEDs that won’t fit on that titchy apex frame. I didn’t have the heart to smash up the DJI FPV, and this one will be much more fun to push and give me something to fly for the years it’ll take me to spend enough time on everything else. Right, glass empty, rant about stupid motors purchase over, time for bed.
@SparkyFPV the expert
I vaguely remember writing that, though the hangover is much more prevalent today.
Been a bit quite on this section of the forum.
Only own 2 drones that have gps and i already have the current DJI FPV record so mini 2 it is
Sorry @McSteamy2010
Nice one mate, good work
I’m just jealous because I don’t have the Speed Freak Badge
I got the badge so your welcome to it now
