This seems a logical option as a local site to me to get a video and I do have some great ideas about what I want to create. However, it seems I have set myself a challenge as having been there twice I have totally failed to get the footage I want. Mainly, as I want a fast and rapid fly through the long entrance between trees, but I can’t get the drone to fly straight as it constantly goes off course and into the trees. There have been high winds both times, and I will be able to get there but it needs the right conditions.
Then having gone to take some footage, I realised I need to properly recce the site as there are varying trees and hazards, so I need to plan a route and properly map out my intentions, had wind warnings and a “loss of vision” sensor today, so it all felt dodgy and uncomfortable. All felt too risky today and I decided to abort.
This let me to take some still images just before I landed instead.
