I have just added this to the map of places to fly your drone at Drone Scene:
Land owner permission requirements unknown.
Dubious one but you can make your own choices.
I have put the TOAL marker on a Severn Trent Public Car Park. This particular car park is free, but check the Severn Trent website for opening hours.
From here do as you wish in terms of TOAL outside of National Trust land. It's a little confusing on the map as there's the red NT layer and larger yellow area. I assume (perhaps incorrectly I'm sure someone who knows better will be along on the discussion thread soon) that yellow is good to go taking sensible precautions, but expect to be asked to leave if you're approached by an NT ranger.
You may be better sticking to the road near where you parked. There are tree's so you will need a spotter or two if you intend to fly over the abbey and stay within the Drone Code.
The originator declared that this location was not inside a Flight Restriction Zone at the time of being flown on 18/04/2022. It remains the responsibility of any pilot to check for any changes before flying at the same location.
