[Camera Drones] Breaking the speed limit - How fast is your drone? Find out on our leaderboard!

If it’s any conciliation since I’ve updated the Airdata or log in my aircraft name has gone & also shows the incorrect FW I have reported it but not heard anything back .

Well Done Jason, you are up 5 places to 32  with a DJI Neo speed of 46.93 mph, new badge awarded

Thank you @SparkyFPV Wayne.

It’s bugging me now, why it’s picked up the Avata2 name, when I definitely flew the Neo.

Hey ho, you honoured it now, so need to fret.

Send an Email to Airdata

Probably the swapping of goggles and controller between the 2

I did think that, too.

@PingSpike - so does my run above count for the leaderboard?! :crossed_fingers::grin::crossed_fingers:

Sorry Dave, I don’t think it was faster than the current selfbuild entry on the leaderboard at the moment.

Nowhere near the number #1 position, but that’s a 5” set up and a whole different ball game. This is a 3” so I’d kinda hoped they’d be viewed as separate classes.

They could be, if @group-fpv are able to agree on the criteria for a FPV-only leaderboard

Check this thread out:

Please give it some thought and bump that thread

and why not! We need another French in the leaderboard - I live in London - I won’t compete with Cedric to build a specific quad for speed, but this is the result of my 5.5" racer (FlightClub proton frame, 2408 - 1950 KV motors - 6S - O3 with 5552 gemfans).

and the best proof for FPV is the agony of the battery a.k.a. the “land now” message

183 kmh = 113.7 mph

Arriba, Speedy Gonzales!

Only way you get on a leaderboard with that speed for a 5inch is if we create a ‘French from London’ one

Seriously - this topic has been touted for a while now - what would the next step @Committee to start a Self-build speed board? Should we present some rule proposal and have a vote on it or ??

There may be a limited number of people attempting to get on this leaderboard

Sure thing, please feel free to take the lead (ha!) in the other thread

Hi Rich
I thought we’d given you possible scenarios and were waiting for the committee to assess and implement one/them
What else are you looking for
Cheers
Steve

Hadn’t seen the entry from @360_FPV until just now! Took my SpeedyBee Mario 5 DC out this AM, with some stupidly aggressive props… which the battery didn’t really like tbh. :face_with_peeking_eye:

22 satellites
54.99m/ps = 197.96kph = 123mph

Is a chunky monkey though, if I stuck it on a diet I am sure I could squeeze a few more kph out of it.

I am running with Vista so don’t have video with OSD. I wrote a Python script to mash the video and the bbl file together and it outputs an ok HUD display on the raw footage so I’ll stick the video from this AM through that later too.

(Genuinely thought I’d hit the magic 200kph this AM! :pinching_hand:)

I lost mine to a 1km trip to the moon
Still not sure what happened.

Decided to down size to a pavo 20 pro to fly along side the the Avata 2 and Neo

Miss the power
