We’ve long debated splitting the leaderboard in to two completely separate leaderboards / threads.

The existing Breaking the speed limit - How fast is your drone? Find out on our leaderboard! thread will revert to camera drones only and we’ll create a new leaderboard for FPV quads, wings and everything else that isn’t a flying camera ship.

There are two issues to solve, 1) How you want them grouped / listed on the leaderboard and 2) how you’ll verify the entries. We’ll cover # 2 later on, let’s solve #1 first.

How would @group-fpv like to handle the entries?

Perhaps, to avoid the board filling up with a plethora of various FPVs, a single entry per frame size and battery size ? My DC2 would then fall into the 2" 4S category, while my Evoque would drop into 5" 6S IYSWIM

There’s a big difference between the capabilities of a 2" quad and a 7" one, so the model would be needed to differentiate

Split into prop size and battery size. Doesnt mater if its bnf or custom build everyone is on an even footing

If its split into cell count/prop size categories I dont see there being more than 25 fpv categories. Sure it will be busy to start with but once people start finding the limits of their quads it will slow down like the current board

The key points in the suggestions so far seem to be to base the entries on either battery, prop size, or both.

Where would things like the DJI Neo or DJI potato, DJI Avata fit in this scenario?

Are there any other suggestions on how to manage the entries on the leaderboard? Could some FPV operators share some example scenarios of potential entries to see if this combo is viable?
