I did, but yesterday was Monday and every Monday, Wednesday and Friday I have medical treatment that knocks me sideways for up to 24 hours and scrambles my brain.
Had it been a Tuesday, Thursday, or the weekend I would have mentioned your translated PDF.

You didn’t imagine the 3 year thing. The guy I previously contacted just sent this. He’s been really helpful which is nice these days with so many things being broken.
Now my brain has cleared from yesterday I also remember where I read about it being valid for 3 years; it is in the link provided by BTV in the second post in this thread.
Confusing because the form seems to ask for a duration you want it. Also the form asks for the geographic area, if it is valid 3 years you may be in different areas at different times, can you specify ‘France’ as the area?
Reckon that must be the way forward. Perhaps all they want is a distinction between France and say French Polynesia or Guadeloupe for example!! I wish😂
