Seems to me that the National Coastwatch Institution has punished the Llandudno team for keeping up with the times, being intuitive and embracing new technology. For me, it’s a no brainer, well done to them I say.

So much safer to send a drone before a person!
Every NCI box i see appears to be manned by a very bored looking pensioner who very occasionally picks up a pair of binoculars.
Never really filled me with confidence they’d spot me if i was in trouble.
