I preprogrammed an orbit of St. Marys church where the Beacon was going to be lit the day before & hoped for good weather.
The conditions were perfect and everything went to plan, I even managed to couple it with an apt soundtrack for the event by the D-Day darlings.
Excellent record of the event.
And good quality too - which drone did you use?
Is permission required for this sort of flying?

Thanks, I used my Mavic 2 Zoom.
I’d set a radius of around 175m via Litchi orbit and was filming on full zoom.
This was its second orbit and (in-post), I used Filmora to gradually zoom in over the flight’s duration so that the final quality was saved at 1080 rather than 2160.
Also used Filmora’s auto-enhance & sharpened it up a little.
…and I’ve always found - “it’s better to ask for forgiveness than permission”
