Wow I was so lucky I did A firmware update and today, I wanted to just get it up and sought out the sphere not saving raw files issues, straight away option was there for jpeg&raw :+1:.

so i thought I do a quick Pano so normally flight through 2 trees towards the spot I like to take panos and it stopped would not move and checked my “Obstacle Avoidance Action” set to "“Brake” mode :scream: not bypass, and RTH was 40 MTRS which I was on a hill and the trees are much higher :scream: it was also in FPV mode :scream:

Unsure why also when brought down as it would not allow to changed to bypass mode in flight which glad as I would not have check settings but I catch my bird and quickly turn on side stop props not everyone favourite but it’s mine but I did it this time it just went faster and not cut-off, it worked after I went out of settings on my dji fly app.

Brought it home quickly and restarted reset everything to default and went through everything and got them back to my settings.

I normally do check everything after a update but this Pano crap was fuffing annoying me and neglected other settings which not happen again, never seen so many changes especially important changes I’ve ever seen before.

Are you sure it was a firmware update as the last one released was in June I think

Could it have been an app update?

No Wayne mate, I did full update as I had no time to fly the bird from when I bought it and when flew last week I took some great Pano’s only to come back and no dng files, and when trying to set it when hovering there was no option until Saturday after new firmware update,

I know all settings were correct when I first flew as it’s what I always do, in the past I knew my camera settings needed resetting again but never any other but this time it set everything opposite to what I like and even if knew out the box.

All’s ok now great Pano’s dng files to play with.

Hi mate
Sorry to ask , I’m suppose to be getting an air2s but I got let down but I think I’ve managed to half claw another one , would you be kind enough to tell me what is the latest version of FW for this , is it still this one 02.04.2190 or has it been bumped up again , many thanks

Scroll five posts up @Kirky to this one.

Sorry mate I was actually just reading it when you messaged me that , sorry my mistake , I know dji can be a bit crafty , many thanks mate

Hi Wayne it’s 02.04.2190

It’s a really nice bird to fly it was me yapping as tbh

I should have added to my pre-check instead assuming all be ok. I think seeing @Windswept misfortunes lately on YouTube I thought bizarre must be Roberts fault but it happened to my drone :frowning: so mine would have had trouble getting RTH if lost signal as I was far higher then the castle Pano I wanted. And I have lakes all round me :scream:

Also I get signal back when it does go into RTH and take back control, I have it height set quite high, but on this flight if I did not do my flight through the trees and had the braking issue and lost signal the drone was set to go down then forward and definitely braked and could landed anywhere :scream:

It would seem that there’s a Litchi issue with this update : Litchi chit-chat ... What's Litchi? Should I use Litchi? - #509 by B0M0A0K.

Probably good to wait for a Litchi update before installing this latest firmware version - if you are a Litchi user.

A new beta version should fix the takeoff issue

Does anybody know whether or not the new Air 2s update messes around with the RC pro hack done by Sincoder?
I’m assuming it doesn’t because it’s a change of aircraft fw, but still.

Much obliged for any info:+1::grin:

The answer to my question is…no it doesn’t…

New Air 2S firmware out today, v02.04.25.00

The usual “fixes some bugs”

Formal release notes to follow (whenever DJI update their site).
