Well i have just done the firmware update, and what a palava, not able to do it through Rc, god knows why, having said that the Rc bitches about sd cards i put in 
Finally did it through DJI assist, so all done not able to fly (thanks weather)
Got my air 3 in 2 days , superfast delivery via eBay. bought as a refurb ,£200 less then new. Thought I would take a chance. when it arrived , (air 3 fly more combo with rc 2,) I thought , well if no good can always send it back… need not have worried , serial number shows NOT a refurb , aircraft had 15 mins of flight time showing. updated firmware , no probs , and bound to my DJI account no probs. drone is pristine, everything works as it should , very happy ! maiden flight made today , airborne for 4o mins , wow ! blown away with the air 3 , signal strength is amazing , flew out nearly 4 miles , line of sight of course !, sorry to say , but my mp 2 will now be retired , as a backup only. Air 3 is now my no 1 goto craft , thanks to all who , err , made be buy one…

On another note , downside to buying Air 3 , is I have had to pony up for a new charger ,bought the DJI 100w usb c . currently using my mavic 2 charging brick , which takes 2 days to charge 3 bats ! This is the most powerfull one I have , at 60w . Air needs minimum 65w so better the nothing until new one arrives

Nice one Tony @FIREFOX , you will enjoy it for sure, i know what you mean about adding the extra’s charger etc.
I just blamed Suzanne @AlbionDrones seemed to work for me
I bought the very same charger from Heliguy’s with some spare blades, then DJI returned my damaged Air 3 with a new one and sent new spare blades lol

Must say ,Mark loving the air 3 ,amazing bit of kit ! signal is excellent far better then my mp 2… So I think I may (eventually),forgive you for forcing me to buy it.defo ,in my opinion ,streets ahead of the mp 2. How technology leaps in a couple of years or so eh… Funnily enough i bought my charger from Heliguy , good company…
As for you,miss Albion drones ,you are forgiven already for making me buy the Air 3… I will continue to blame Mark @yorkie9668 .after all much easier …

Lol, but Tony, I bet you wouldn’t be without the AIR3 now you have it?
I flew 50+ KM over the weekend with the AIR3 and another 30 with the MINI3 Pro (2 drone meets), love them both, but ye gods, the speed and climb rate of the AIR3 is awesome!!

Your right there Suzanne , could not believe the rate of decent , almost scary , but it knows when to slow down,just before landing. Also I noticed inside the battery compartment , there is a label that says class 1 laser product . so definitely a huge leap in tech… And yes , your right , would not want to be without my Air 3…
All DJI drones should have a transparent model
