DJI Air 3 - Rumours, leaks, gossip and general discussion

Exactly what I thought, maybe I should hold off in the hope somebody brings something here :crossed_fingers:t2:
Thanks

The only other thing I’m hunting the net for but can’t find out, is if that quad-bear sensor of 48 mp is only in single shot or if it allows AEB

Why search the net all the info is on DJI’s Site

Just get it ordered :scream:

Thanks Wayne
I was just watching YouTube crap, :scream: I’ll read the spec see if I can find it, although I’ve heard mentioned something about a stacked sensor instead of standard CMOS or something to that affect, which is apparently better.

Just buy it stop fing about :scream: :scream: :scream: :scream:

Personally, I’d wait until later this evening before buying

I knew that was coming, I soooo knew it, I said it to myself at breakfast time hand on my heart :star_struck:

The new Mavic Air 3 has been released today with a top speed of 47mph. How would this impact on where you can fly with an A2 CofC ?

Roger @astra1982 you’ll find your answer here:

did u buy one kirky?

I’m wondering who’ll be the first GADC owner to claim bragging rights, Christopher

Will it be Kirky?

Or will it be someone else??

@Committee, you should create a Braggin’ Rights badge for people who post their “firsts”!

I might have claimed that for the Mavic 3 Pro, but not for this :joy:

NOOOOOO ( well not yet )

My answer isnt there because, the DJI Air 3 isnt listed.

Don’t look under Mavic, it’s not a Mavic.

It’s here @astra1982:

Or you could use the ‘enter weight’ option

But I can’t tell you the weight as it’s a secret

Anyone would think you’ve entered our current competition @JonD

I was querying the speed, not weight. I thought the max permitted speed in the UK to operate in certain categories is 42.5mph, but the new Air 3 has a max speed of 47mph.

Speed is irrelevant in the UK as CAA do not recognise any EU class marks @astra1982 - they are utterly meaningless:

Drone class marks being rolled out across European Union nations will not currently be used or recognised in the UK. Following a public consultation and formal government decision, the UK will keep the existing legacy provisions until 1 January 2026.

well here we are again ,another new DJI drone ,would i buy it, in a heart beat ,if the CAA would let me fly it like my Mini 3 pro ,there is absolutely no benefit to owning a 720g drone here in the UK right now ,even with my A2 C of C its still a legacy drone, no benefit to me, other than to have a longer flight time, and having the latest technology, for those with a GVC then great ,but for the hobby flyer like me ,then my almost £1500,to purchase the Fly more and the 100w charger is staying firmly in my Bank Account
