As I own the air2s and the Mavic 2 pro I’m interested but will stay on the fence for a bit as after all the issues the mini 3 pro has / had I’m going to wait and see just how good this is first , I don’t fly in towns or cities the the 720grm doesn’t really effect me and would would much rather have all the benefits of a heavier drone , so as hard as it is I will wait and see lol

well sorry to say ,i have had a change of heart ,with regards to the Air3
after much thought ,and re-reading the specs and weighing up the pros and cons ,i have today gone ahead and ordered the Fly more combo with the RC2 and the 100w charging brick plus the ND filter kit ,direct from DJI
i alredy have the A2 C of C so i can enjoy the benefits of flying in the A2 open category till the end of 2025
the main reasons for my U turn, are my age ,and health issues,and from the Air 3 s point of view, the much improved flight times, and capabilities in windy conditions,compared to the Mini 3 pro ,the fact that i have succumbed ,does not in any way, alter how i feel about the current CAA rules here in the UK
they are still disproportionate to the risks, that a drone that weighs just 720g MTOW can have if it hits something ,still it is what it is, and all we can do is to follow the CAP 2012 as best we can
Ordered mine yesterday, always liked the Air2S so no brainer, miss flying, even renewed my FPV, may as well use my A2 cofc that expires in 3 years, mine will be here tomorrow, ordered from Very bagged 20% with a voucher they offered to tease me back

Didn’t think it would work, but it did, amazed they still allow us to use them, I always pay the full balance before the 12mths interest free period
Well done and a good choice and don’t worry about until the end of 2025; as that date will roll on and on as it has done several times already. The air 3 is far more usable than the mini 3 and hopefully it won’t have all the problems that came with the mini 3 .

Just spoke to Sincoder about a previous hack. I mentioned support for the Air 3.
He’s currently working on a hack, but he cannot confirm when it will be available. He has confirmed that we’ll have to pay (again), regardless of paying for a previous hack, e.g. Mini 3 Pro, etc. He does not know how much though.

I suppose that depends on where people fly. That said, I’ve been using the Mavic Air 2 more than Mini 2 the last few weeks.
I had a mini 2 and although it was good I much prefer the stability of the air2s and my Mavic 2 pro as both don’t really bother about wind so hence more flying times that was my point , I don’t fly in towns or cities so sub 250 has no benefit to me .

Mine arrived half an hour ago, charging it all, got to say the new RC 2 is really fast, and you can now use the Micro SD as the main memory, also added a years cover from DJI for a ton

Those who have bought the air3 , how good is it so far ? I’ve not seen much feedback on it yet and ok there is all the usual YouTube rubbish and we are awaiting the @ianinlondon review and hopefully that will be along soon as that’s a trusted one but just wondering what the other owners think of it so far ?

Only managed a short flight, it was really quiet and the new RC Screen is so fast compared to the last version, sadly it’s done nowt but poured down since I got it and we’re away to Benidorm on Monday, so it will have to wait until I am back, no not taking it with me 
Lol , it’s like getting the bbq out as soon as you do summer is over lol . I’m impressed with what I’ve seen so far and although many improvements will come so far it looks really good . With the screen on the new controller is it easy to see the information icons and how is it for brightness ? Although I’ve been very tempted before I’ve never had a built in screen and the size of these screens does concern me a bit .
