I don’t think that’s an Air 4

Coming in Aug-Nov 2026?

Model DJI announcement date Gap since prior launch
Mavic Air (“Air 1”) 23 Jan 2018 0
Mavic Air 2 (“Air 2”) 28 Apr 2020 ~27 months
Air 2S 15 Apr 2021 ~12 months
Air 3 25 Jul 2023 ~27 months
Air 3S 15 Oct 2024 ~15 months
Air 4 ?

About the same time as the Avata 360 will finally hit the shelves then?

Hope so!

If the bridge gap model of the 3S was anything to go by, the Air 4 is going to be one hell of a drone

That one’s gone very quiet lately… UK class mark compliance causing some delays?

… I was wondering the same. Interestingly, the Antigravity A1 is apparently C0 rated with standard batteries and C1 rated with the larger batteries as its then over 250 grams. Wonder if DJI are looking at a similar option … sorry way off topic :man_facepalming:

It’s been a while since there’s been any updates on here, I’ve been looking to upgrade to the Air 3S, but if the 4/S are coming out well…

Any updates?

As far as I can tell there has been no sniff of any rumors around an Air4 as of yet and going by the launch dates of previous releases of the Air range it could be anyone’s guess

Mavic Air 2: Released in April 2020.
DJI Air 2S: Released in April 2021.
DJI Air 3: Released on July 25, 2023.
DJI Air 3S: Released on October 15, 2024

So maybe the 4 is due if you think they have a 3 yr cycle on the Air range ?

There are some posts about one but all a little vague really - not long got the 3s myself and I cant see myself upgrading it any time soon as it really is a great allround beast.

Thanks mate, I’m still incline to with the 3S, as I know just how good it is. However, if the 4 is on the horizon then I may be tempted…

I’ll keep an ear to the ground!

You will see a lot of love for the Air 3s and with the new stock seemingly to be having the UK1 class mark on it, it will be future proof for going into 2028 ( I still hope that the C1 class will be treated as such or DJI will let us apply for UK1 on the drone )

If not, going to be a lot of care refresh claims in about a year.
