If this takes off it might be worth setting up some kind of pre warning thread so members can post “Tomorrow morning 7am live flight around Bodiam Castle” kind of thing?
Facebook would be handy, but no idea where to find the code, I suspect you would still need to have over 1000 subscribers to use you tube livestream
Follow the video above it explains it all very well, I had a play with it last night and managed to live stream to YouTube and I don’t have a 1000 followers see my posts above
I have been out playing with version 1.4.12 and can confirm all the issues already posted are present
I also noticed a laggy video feed
So it’s binned for now and I am back to the rock solid v1.4.2
Did you use a laptop or a mobile device Wayne? When I hit the “go live” button on my mobile it says you need 1000 subscriptions to be able to go live on a mobile device?
Sorry Steve yes you have to use a laptop and log in with your browser
You can then get the key you need to put in the DJI fly app
The problem I had was once the key was imputed I could get rid of the keyboard to click ok
In the end I sussed it out and had to hit the power button to turn of the screen and the when I went back in I could use the back arrow button to remove the keyboard and set the bit rate and resolution and ok it
Probably an issue with the Huawei m5 lite tablet
Cheers for the info Wayne
I thought it was either too be honest but I was only looking at the mobile phone. I’ll check the PC tonight
I didn’t realise I could give Airdata my DJI credentials and, as long as I have Fly set to sync with DJI, Airdata pulls the flight logs across. My flights with 1.4.12 are now in Airdata but I’m back to using 1.4.8 1185 thanks to the compass and 360 issues
Has anybody tried this who has the drone hacks script installed?
See post # 89 over here @speatuk Drone Hacks app - How to enable FCC mode and remove NFZs on your DJI Mavic Air, Air 2, Mavic Mini, Mini 2, Mini 3 or DJI FPV drone - #89 by d95gas
Thanks Rich.
DJI moved the log.location in 1.4.12. Airdata say their latest Android version, 2.0.72, works with 1.4.12.
Appears to be another bug in 1.4.12 - this time for the Mini 1.
Operating the the gimbal wheel on the RC causes the drone to yaw left or right. FFS
Fortunately - the sticks still control the drone as per normal…
Yet some still insist we must slavishly follow the CAA ‘recommendation’ to always use the latest firmware…
And propellers ;o)
Reports now indicating …
DJI Fly 1.4.12-211012 has been released and it fixes the compass issue and the failure to reset advanced gimbal settings
Also the front light can be switched off as well and the flight logs are back in the correct place.
Livestream has disappeared
