Brave enough to try the Android version @SparkyFPV ?

The whole “fixes certain issues” thing is as ridiculously vague as ever. Why not just tell us which issues have been fixed and which are still on the backlog? :man_shrugging:t2:

I know its a ridiculous comment

`fixed certain issues and optimizes overall app quality

Whattttttt but then again most people wouldn’t even look at these let alone care!

No need as it will trash my Huawei Media pad and let’s face it these updates are going to be more for the Mavic 3, the Mini 2 is done now other than DJI trying to stop DH

My iPhone is updated so might try that later :see_no_evil:

Being able to change the EXP (sensitivity) settings of the sticks is pretty huge for me. Works for all drones that use the fly app.

Interesting!

I don’t think anyone has ever missed the EXP settings over the last couple of years for the Mini 1 or 2

Not sure I’ve heard any Air 2S owners missing it either

Yet I have heard Mavic 3 owners missing it, and I only know three of them :grimacing:

What will you be changing yours to Ade? Let us know how you get on :+1:t2:

Definitely missed it for my 2S. Cine mode just doesn’t do it for me with barely any difference from normal mode.
Will be great to tweak it now. Not bothered about the Mini as that’s more of a fun drone, straight up take a photo and down again, not my go to cinematography drone.

It’s definitely been missed. Especially by fat thumb people. People wouldn’t go to these lengths otherwise.

I certainly have. I can control my 650 size hex with greater surgical precision than I can the Mini2. And unless they have sorted the Fly APP to function with my Huawei daily drivers it will still be the case.

Ok, that’s two people that have missed the EXP on a Mini then

I just don’t recall anyone speaking out about it over the last two years

Let us know how you get on too Nidge :+1:t2:

I had a quick look last night and it seems you can only change the EXP rates in normal and sports mode

I’ve just installed the App onto my old Samsung phone to test and the Expo has made a world of difference to me. I can quite happily navigate the Mini2 around the house, up the stairs, and around the upstairs rooms while sat on the sofa in the living room. This is something I wouldn’t even have considered using the Cine mode let alone Normal and Sport mode.

I’ll see how the App runs on my Huawei daily drivers next.

I’ve installed the App onto both of my Huawei devices (P30Lite and M5Lite8) and it appears to be playing nice on both.

It also appears that the EXPO feature has always been available but never implemented by DJI, as the settings are stored in the drone and not the App.

There was also recent firmware update the Mini 2 though as well, so it was probably added then. Maybe.

I’m still on 1.4.2 due to the control link failure problems people were having with the version that came after.
Is 1.5.4 free from that issue?

I will give it a go on my Huawei M5 lite to confirm

That was a controller update

dji rc-n1 firmware v04.11.0032

which maybe to do with the EXPO feature
