Was that emoji reaction a no @SparkyFPV? ![]()
What else only needs that low a USB voltage and amps, if not glasses? ![]()
It’s ok to say if you don’t know either ![]()
Folks on MadsTech live stream, seem to think it may be an update on the old Tello. ![]()
A 199g drone for when all the regs change again?

There are strong indications that the Lito X1 could be a sub-200g tiny drone, possibly similar to the Hover X1. “Or it’s a sub 200g tiny drone”
Mauro’s guess is the Mini 4K will be going end of life, to be replaced with the Lito X1 ![]()

Let’s hope it’s just as cheap ![]()
Lito 1 to replace 4 and the Lito XL to replace Mini 5 Pro.
Maybe the first ones to have the new UK labels.
Release date not known for Uk, but could be soon.
According to a Chinese site on Pinterest, the X1/Mini 5 replacement will come in under 250g with 30minute batteries, and have a significant improvement in the form of 20km RC connection which will be pointless in most countries because of the VLOS rule.
The Lito 1 is apparently to replace the current Mini 4K (not the Mini 4 Pro), which makes sense as that drone is the current update of the Mavic Mini. That was a game-changer in it’s day, which has gone through Mini 2, Mini SE, Mini 2SE and thcurrent 4K model (I think, the similar names are confusing), and I’m not unhappy with my 4K, but it is perhaps a bit long in the tooth nowadays! The Pinterest article does not mention any upgrades to performance between the Mini 4K and the Lito, though, nor even a restyling, and I’m wondering if this might be little more than a rebranding exercise. In any case, while I’m happy to join in the frothing here, I won’t believe it until DJI announce it!
I’m wondering if DJI want to condense their Mini range down to just the Litos, and dispense with the Mini 4 Pro altogether
One step above FaceBook, not a high bar
Which is why I won’t believe it until DJI announce it!
You will hear it here first before DJI announces it
Let’s hope they’ve fixed their scales before they weighed these
And find a box of UK stickers, or a sharpie
Its going to be a skyrover x1 in white lol
Wishlist/hopelist for Lito1 & X1 features (just for fun, it’ll be way too late in the development for any of these to be actually included):-
For both models:-
.Integral onboard strobe light visible from 500’ minimum, at rear, to face forward & downward at about 45deg
.Integral propguards
.’Day-glo’ colours
.Gimbal cover to fold upwards into or over bodyshell.
.Increased resistance to water ingress. Obviously, waterproofing is a whole nother ballgame, but the ability to fly in a light shower or mist would be good!
Additional for Lito X1:-
x2 optical zoom, doubling the apparent magnification of the digital zoom already provided. Shouldn’t be too heavy…
Any other ideas, chaps/chapesses?
If it had those, it would probably be named the Flip 2.
So I doubt it will have those.
The other ideas make sense though![]()
Thing on Google yesterday seemed to indicate that these drones will be released Q2-Q3 this tear and that Lito X1 is already in distribution facilities. Also, if I am reading the specs correctly (and I’m not 100% sure that I am), it looks as if the more basic Mini 4K replacement Lito 1 is to have full obstacle avoidance as well as the Mini 5 replacement Lito X1.
If this is the case, I will be very interested and will very probably buy one. Obstacle avoidance is the one feature I would most like to have seen included in my 4K, but accepted that it was not possible at that price level; now it looks as if it might be!
I doubt that obstacle avoidance alone would be able to protect me from my pilot errors when I am stressed about being too close to something, and I still think I will be better off relying on my current avoidance technique, which is ‘flying in the middle of the sky and keeping away from the edges’, but proper obstacle avoidance at this price level is a game-changer, and will undoubtedly help and increase my confidence when I’m flying close to things high up that I want to look at (not seagulls!)…
I am a little worried that DJI, who caught themselves out over the 249g weight limit with the Mini 5, will achieve sub-249g take-off weight by shaving material off structurally important parts of the bodyshell. Which could result in the drones being a bit flimsy and fragile in a crash or even a rough landing. Let’s hope not…
