For some reason, my aircraft is on:
Aircraft Firmware: v01.01.0610
No updates available.
I am not seeing on the Mini 2
I wonder if I have it because I have two drones and apparently this makes it easier to switch between them?
Of course, it could be slowly rolled out.
I have no idea.
Give it time, it can take up to 24hrs to propogate.
And you should never be in any kind of rush to install a DJI firmware update
So here’s an interesting one…
DJI have pulled the v01.01.0650 firmware update and reverted back to the previous version:
I fully expect there to be another update pushed out in the next 24hrs.
Yes - I noticed the update had gone.
Probably noticed not many people upgraded as they would have assumed they would.
I bet the next time it “appears” they have added something that makes the update irresistible.
As it stands, with the “pulled” update, there was nothing on offer except the crippling of your drone.
You old cynic, you…
Who wouldn’t want to upgrade when the release notes contain such amazingly tempting new features such as “Optimized flight safety”!
Which as you suggest Steve, actually translates to, “the bugs which allowed people full freedom of their own drone are now fixed”
Or not of they have pulled it…….
Looks like it is back
Don’t know not checked and won’t be
Still no sign of its return @DroneGeek
It was - but then it has gone again today!
7 posts were merged into an existing topic: DJI Air 2S firmware updates
Two weeks later…
It never came back.
My guess would be a rushed/botched update (re DH certificates).
My fear would be they’re now using this time to put a more permanent fix in place
I updated my Mavic Air2 today and it updated to v01.01.0610 says this is the latest.
Aircraft Firmware: v01.01.0670
Remote Controller: v04.11.0016
- Optimized flight safety.
- If the update fails, restart aircraft, remote controller, and DJI Fly or DJI Assistant 2 for Mavic, and retry.
DJI full of useful information as always I see…
