DJI Mavic Mini (Fly As You Are)

The payment failed 3 times on me so I had to switch to PayPal. Nice to see you were thinking along the same lines and got in very early! :sunglasses:

Thanks @PingSpike :+1:

I’m hoping a system glitch and the order is there - have contacted support. Hoping they’re not being weird about US delivery address and UK payment card.

Not for me.But looks a fab little drone mind. Spot on for a youngster to cut their teeth on or a first drone and or companion drone.

DJI have done great job squeezing it under 250g too :+1:

Im still figuring out my Mav 2 and have plenty of flight time to go with it before venturing out with another drone.

Oh! Me too…

I tried two different cards before the third one worked. Every time it failed it killed my basket too so I had to keep starting over from scratch. Didn’t think much of it at the time but it clearly wasn’t just me that had issues then.

Just looked at my DJI account and it’s still got one of my failed payment attempts showing on my account from earlier on at 12:54:

I’m guessing that’ll cancel itself in the next hour…

Aaaahhhh, you have to change the currency. An order in USD doesn’t show up when you have GBP selected. Odd design choice!

As a side a issue I love PayPal interest free credit, it justify’s (just) all electronics purchases to SWMBO.

Did you order one Chris? And did @JoeC and @DTH order in the end?

I’ve lost track now

Confirmed orders:

Me, @colinbm (who thankfully found his hidden order), @jjn, @ianinlondon

Only four so far??

I’m gonna hold back for your reviews, I like the idea as we travel a lot.

Mainly I want to know how it sounds, I was tempted by an air until I heard one, annoying as fuck especially for a discreet in/out flyer like me.

Spark !!! Doh.

I finally got to the bottom of this.

The 1100mAh battery is 50g in weight, and the 2400mAh battery is 100g.

This is for the Japanese market, as their limit is 200g, so the Mavic Mini in Japan will ship with a 50g LiPo battery which means the drone then weighs in at 199g and therefore under the 200g limit in Japan.

@JJN did you go for the flymore combo too?

@colinbm? (sorry if I missed it above)

Just wondering if yours may arrive next week if you went for the basic kit :grimacing:

Yup fly more.
