Just been testing this @10quidquad and the DJI Fly v1.0.1 app won’t even install on the CrystalSky mate.

Error message says:

Parse error

There was a problem parsing the package

Had another look, and csky is android version 2. My phone is now on v. 10 !
Go4 app was kept in the loop for this, but the new fly app not so.

Can 't see it being cost effective to update, so dead in my view. It’s also out of stock on their website.

Pity since cellphones are still nowhere near as bright.

I’ll tag you in again if I find a way to get it loaded mate.

Really? That’s so long ago and way before drones were made by DJI.
Go4 doesn’t work on Android 5, I believe, and it works on CS.

The v02.06.06.00 is the DJI firmware revision, not the underlying Android core

Your Android core OS under the hood will be v5.1.1 :+1:t2:

Still old. :man_shrugging:

I wonder what DJI Fly app needs?

(It doesn’t load to Android 4.3, at least.)

Well I’m obviously wrong on that but I thought that’s what it said on the,one I just sold.

Shame because so much better than my phone, but not if you can’t use it!

Have to see if mavic mini is as reliable as I hoped, and maybe made csky compatible, if I cqn buy another.

Finally, received message to say it will arrive today!!!

Hi Bursco… did this arrive from Heliguy? I just placed my order with them a few days ago. Website states stock due on 25th Nov… btw. Hi everyone. I am new to the forum. I’m excited about the mavic mini. I have a DJI P3 Advanced, but haven’t flown it for at least a year now - been waiting for something a little smaller / lightweight and portable, and this seems to be just the drone for me!

I ordered my mini when heliguy had preorder on their site and site said 25th just like a lot of other sites.
A few days later looked at site and said out of stock, as other sites where all doing the same I left it.
Then on the 12th received email that it would be del tomorrow the 13th.
Only thing that I can think of is that some combos came early and I may have been one of the very early ones at preordering- just lucky.

Ahh ok. Lucky indeed to have got it earlier. I guess i’m just going to have to wait another week or so, which I guess isn’t too bad. How have you found the mini so far? Happy with the combo pack?

My first drone and in my little world I find it irresistible. Now is called Tich.
Good enough for me at moment and will see how the new uk laws go and may update.
Going to register it - putting longer landing legs on it so will probably go over 250, which is ok.

No, and although they get slated for their customer service I’ve used them for a good few years, bought MacBook Pro’s and iPhones and lots of tech from them.

Once a customer they bombard you with 10 and 20% discounts (even though I pay before the interest kicks in)

Random Question for the Illuminati;)

Does the MM allow you to set the % return to home setting? Or do we have to use our eyes;)

Having looked at most of the YT ā€œreviewsā€ there is no mention of a battery level alarm setting and I cant see anything in the menu…
