Hello i have just received my DJI mini 3 with the DJI RC controller and was wondering if there was a way i could use Maven app with my setup if not is there a way i could even if it means buying a new controller any advise would be much appreciated kevin

Looking at there website it seems this app is like Lichi and it will only support the Mini 3 on an Android device — https://www.mavenpilot.com/ If your using your phone connected to the controller as a screen then you just need to install the app on your phone and you use it instead of the DJI Fly …
