I have two of them and they are great. Yesterday I had to hover for about 10 minutes whilst a client spoke to me - so having extended time really helped. I also use my A2 CofC to stay legal(ish).
I purchased on ebay for the plus fly more kit.
Just be careful however as some of the listings say plus, but it is the regular one.
I intend to pick up a couple more when I am next in the USA (subject to them being available)
Hey thanks for that , I’m thinking with the standard ones the time is about the same as my MA2 so maybe just have a total of six and all will be plenty for me , however if and when they do pop up maybe I’d take a punt price depending , cheers mate
DJI Day finally coming, putting to rest the mystery of what the “Golden Ticket” offered with early orders of the Mini-3 will actually be: 30% off select, mostly useless, accessories, although the ND filters are in the offer so that’s where my money will be going.
I’m so glad even thou there expensive buying plus batteries, I was able to fly the furthest point my binoculars allow me did a few Pano pictures then did 2 hyperlapse’s did a few mastershots and other shots and flew back at ease, Basically you can relax and do alot more of a plus battery in one flight with having not to constantly looking at battery level.
Get them delivered to your hotel from out of state to avoid paying local taxes. Although Amazon sometimes will add tax anyway depending upon their location.
Is it true that the obstacle avoidance only works front, back and down but not side to side? The Dji website says 360 degrees but I’ve heard that if you are moving the drone either left or right you still need to be weary of obstacles?
Hi. So i will be new to the drone scene and have been doing research and getting information that will help me, so rules and regulations, where I can fly, I think I have got that covered.
So I am thinking of getting the DJI Mini 3 pro.
So what I would like to know from you guys that fly them is about the accessories.
Like the batteries.
The larger capacity batteries. ( I know that the larger batteries will take me above the 250g category. I will do what I need to do to be legal in that field)
Chargers for the larger batteries.
Lens filters, which ones, are they all needed.
Carry cases.
And any other accessories that I may need.
Last of all any shop, DJI retailers that will do any good deals. Father Christmas will be bringing it to me.
I understand the excitement of the new toy, but seriously, the rule of thumb should be, “learn to use it before you accessorize it.”
Get to know how to use it fully, and I mean every feature, every setting. Once you feel confident that you know all there is to know, see what you need to make life easier.
I bought my mini 3 pro 2 months ago and I got the flymore kit with it, it has two extra batteries plus the charging dock that you can also use as a power bank plus extra props and a nice carrying case. The only other accessory that I bought was a foldable landing pad just incase where I decided to fly had long grass or was dusty. by using the landing pad, you dont need to worry about the “legs” you can buy which might affect its wind resistance while flying.
I agree with Badly_Drone_Boy that it would be best to fly and get to know how to fly the drone first.
Hi. Regarding The DJI mini 3 pro.
As the camera lens does not have any protection besides the open removable bezel. I was going to us a uv lens to protect the actual camera lens from dust and scratches. While I have the money,I do want to get accessories before my drone budget gets used on something else. I have seen a few YouTube videos about the free well filters.
There is the uv filter. All Day filters 6 pack.
And The Bright Day filters 6 pack.
Can you guys please give me some advice.
I don’t know anything about the filters but you can get clear lense protectors there are also other filters you can get as you rightly said but I have no knowledge of these , just thought I’d share the link for clear.
