Yeah, cheers mate. Gone through the lot, all just saying pre order. No dates given, I’m guessing a next dji shipment has gotta be due, so Argos was the first to stock the drone itself, so whenever the stock comes for the pre orders for the camera places, Argos will have a limited stock also. I was just try to suss out what date that might be. Nice on for the reply.

Argos haven’t had stock of the fly more yet from what I can tell, other places have, so I wouldn’t count on Argos being the first.
It’s one of those keep checking everywhere daily or just take the plunge and pre-order somewhere. Clifton’s customer service is usually pretty good, if you give them a call/email they will likely give you an idea of expected shipment because they are independent, where as massive chain places aren’t likely to give you any info.

Yes they have to get all pre orders delivered before the shops have them full time, I did suggest last week he should pre order with Clifton Camera’s, when I did they said they were expecting their first delivery by June 1st, I’ve had mine since last Tuesday, not pre-ordering won’t help mind, take a risk you might just be surprised
So my kit has arrived planning on its maiden flight Wednesday afternoon ! Question: How long does setup take assuming there’s firmware updates to do ? Got a late shift tomorrow so don’t want to fafff about after a long day & piss my good lady off obviously on Wednesday don’t want to waste time doing firmware when I could be flying so rough timing would be terrific

Yeah checking daily, different sites, foreign sites every few hours ish. I got the mini 3 early doors on release day from Argos so was going with the hunch they’d get the fly more in nearly first, being a big chain. And going off the pre order dates, I’d have an idea when Argos had the limited stock what they get. Not looking like I’m getting extra flying time for when we go away on Satday

I would have just grab the drone and flick instantly and had no problems up until now!! but tbh I never realised until I seen the video @milkmanchris put up that it could stress the motors 
I went to Currys last time to buy mini 2 combi and was hassle free instantly bought on day of release, but i decided this time to order direct from DJI the mini 3 combo SD card and 2 years car refresh, this was a good move as unfortunately my location we only have Argos or Currys to choose from and limited stock or don’t stock due to lack of demand because this county are full of backward hillbillies.

I think I’ve found stock of the drone plus the RC-N1 controller in stock so have placed an order. Ideally I’d have liked the pro controller, but at the same time, I like the flexibility of adding my phone in case there are options for litchi (or similar) in the future.
BTW, I would stay away from Drones Direct. They “had stock” and let me place and pay for my order. Then the confirmation came through, but it said ‘awaiting stock’. Trying to speak to somebody was a bit of a 'mare. I’ll get my money back in 5-7 days.

I’d totally agree. I bought an “open box” Air 2s recently … except it was not as described and had been activated/registered. Took almost three weeks to get a refund despite returning it the day after I collected it from them. Five years ago their customer service was brilliant but now I wouldn’t use them even if they were last retailer on this earth … and they are ten minutes drive from me,

Fly more kits are in stock at Argos.
They went out of stock but back in for collection on 4th June.
Just checked and not showing anything for delivery or collection 
Keep trying - they come and go…
I suspect they are releasing some at a time from the central warehouse.
Each day I spend around 20mins checking all the usual UK suppliers like Argos, Curry’s, Very, etc. etc.
You would have thought they would produce enough to go around everyone by now, maybe they didn’t expect the demand for this little gem that it has been
