Im keeping my eyes open for good discounts on the Mini 3 Pro as they are very unlikely to keep both selling.
I wonder how much stock is around

Done it. At 15.42, just a few minutes after reading the email notification from DJI, I received the purchase confirmation. It was all over in a cloud of dust and debris before I knew what had happened.

Although my Mini 3 Pro is less than a year old and I’m perfectly happy with it, I have a motive. I have a good friend [and his girlfriend] who dearly would like a Mini 3 Pro but isn’t in a financial position to get one. So I’m going to give him mine. The whole kit - 3 spare batteries, charger, props, ND filters, SD cards. Should make them happy.

Thank you for the confirmation Ian, I was thinking the same and was going to ask the question :+1:

I just need to wait for the “drone only” option now…

Seems elsewhere the new battery is about 3g lighter to meet requirements.

Cynically wondering if performance limitations on old batteries are a deliberate software cripple to encourage newer purchases.

I think we need a test running the Mini 4 in calm conditions flat out, with new battery and with a Mini 3 battery…

And a Mini 3 with a Mini 4 battery :grinning:

Any @group-mini-4-pro users yet :man_shrugging:

Ian can you also check to see if the max height is restricted to 120m as it seems to be in Europe

I heard they weren’t compatible that way round… Anyone else hear on that?

It quotes on the datasheet that the mini 4 battery is only compatible with the 4 but as they are basically the same as the 3 other than the weight and mAH ( and voltage :man_shrugging:) I am wondering what the out come would be

Worth a test

yep, I reckon…

As always on buys I wait for your opinion, its been a long journey following since the days of us losing Mavic pro’s and fitting trackers :rofl:

After getting burned with an original smart controller that rapidly became obsolete im glad ive resisted all the future controllers for that reason.
Again it seems they’re very quick to ditch support for them.

Does anyone have an idea when this will be available at Very/Argos etc?

Now?

You’d think, but I can’t find it on those sites, it’s not listed. Which is extra strange considering the DJI site says it’s available through their site and official vendors. Argos and Very sell Mini 3 pro etc, and a 2 day delay in making it available is pretty bad for early sales.

I can’t find any statements or announcements from either site about the launch, and just wondered if someone has a scoop.
