Maybe a good idea until you need to avoid birds

Argos are probably, desperately, trying to unload their remaining stock of Mini2SEs for now.

It’s surprising that they haven’t lowered the price of the Mini 3 Pro … yet!

Mini 3 Pro at Argos reduced by £70 to £639.00

Amazing, thanks!

@PingSpike , So 42nd Wedding Anniversary today so out to wetherspoons tonight for cheap drinks, then when she’s looking glassy eyed I’ll ask the question - Can I buy a Mini 4 pro.

I like your style

And congrats on 42yrs my man :clap:t2:

Amazon had it available yesterday. IMHO better than very/Argos

Indeed, Amazon has you covered:

Cheers, saw that, but they still have terrible spread payment options. Very has 12 months buy now pay later with 0% where amazon charges an interest rate on every spread payment option. Still baffled by this but it is what it is. Bought it through Very, delivery this Friday. So stoked!

Very also offer 20% off on your first order using the credit offer … and you can pay it off immediately too.

Was tempted by this, though over £500 it’s limited to £100 and it’s an account credit, so you’d need to be spending more at Very too. Still, good deal if it’s relevant to you.

Best I’ve found otherwise is 6% currys discount through work perk scheme.

I was excited to see the launch of the mini 4 pro and the fact I can use the batteries from my mini3p especially the plus batteries even though it will take it over 250g
It also comes out that the filters that I have will not fit the m4p

The issues that will stop me buying is the lack of support for the RCpro.
I asked DJI and they informed me only the RC2 and RC N2 will work with the M4p

Philip Bloom image comparison and thoughts:-

Also this:-

EU HEIGHT RESTRICTION
In April 2024 in the EU any drone under 250g needs to be labelled C-0 and is banned from going over 120m for anything. DJI has decided to do this early for the Mini 4 Pro.
From April 2024 every new Mini 3 Pro will also have this restriction, and they will also bring out firmware for current Mini 3 Pros to add this restriction ALTHOUGH you do not have to update your drone. It’s optional; you just won’t be able to get any new features if they add any.
This info is direct from my DJI guy.

lucky we are not in the EU… funny how we are still being put in that box when it suits everyone

I mean we get at the EU laws and restrictions… but are considered outside of the EU for shipping and vat etc. (literally the worst of ALL world’s/ options)

A good test of the new Active Track 360 and obstacle avoidance.

Been hearing lots of horror stories of the Mini 4 Pro being restricted to a 120m ceiling from your take off point.

Can someone with a DJI Mini 4 Pro, in the UK, post a screen shot of the DJI Fly app altitude settings screen please, while the drone is connected and while it has a GPS signal?

… AND it’s at 121+m!

Mine should arrive tomorrow, I’ll post up if no one has done it before then
