Great, thanks, I had to catch up with somethingâs hence the late reply, Iâll take a look later tomorrow after last minute shopping.
@SparkyFPV Heck why wait till later, just done itâŚ
ThanksâŚ
Is anybody else having trouble with hand-catching the Mini 4 Pro? Try as I might, I just canât get it to descend. Iâm standing there like a lemon, hand exactly how Iâve held it for the all the others, but it wonât budge.
With the latest firmware, you can disable the bottom sensors
I have recently heard that there is a new toggle to disable the downward facing sensors ⌠so maybe others are having the same issue?
I think Ian (@ianinlondon) mentioned it in this video
Trouble is, if you disable the downward sensors it also disables the auto-land (âlanding protectionâ) feature that does the actual landing-on-the-hand bit.
I guess I could turn it off then sort of pluck it out the air, but with the props still spinning full pelt I give myself a month before losing the tip of a finger
It does take a while, then again the mini 3 did too, I just keep the stick pressed down and it eventually descends.
Iâve just downloaded the latest update 01.00.0300 to my Mini 4 pro.
It enables Screen recording to an SD card which is very good.
But while it records the screen it doesnât record any sound.
If you screen record to the controllers internal storage, sound can be recorded by attaching an external mic to the controller. It works fine with my DJI mic.
But turn the recording from internal to SD card and no sound is recorded.
Anyone else found this.
As an amendment to that, it doesnât actually record sound to the internal storage either now.
So, I need to have more patience and stand like a lemon for just a little longer? I shall do my best
Just try not to look like a former German leader with you arm stretched out
Replacement arrived first thing this morning (having sat at UPS in Donington since the 23rd) with a free DJI tote bag. Not something Iâll ever use, but a nice touchâŚ
@JoeC I change to sport mode Joe, just before I decend it towards the palm of my hand. Donât hold your hand out flat though, instead use your forefinger and thumb to cup under its belly. This way it doesnât bugger up and down embarrassingly whilst it decides its safe to land and it wonât slip off your palm as you have it gripped. Good luck! (nearest icon to missing digits).
This problem is now fixed, and the remote now recognises that it has an external mic added. I think itâs plugging the mic into the controller whilst the mic is turned off and then turning it on makes the controller aware there is a mic attached. If it is plugged in while the mic is turned on the controller doesnât recognise the mic.
So is it just me or?
When flying the Mini 4, using the left/right forward/backwards stick itâs like a rocket. The setting i have for this Mini 4 are the same as i use on the Air 3 and that just seems nice and calm.
Is it me am i missing something or is it just how the drone is
individual settings the same for all 3 modes? Cine normal and sport?
I checked that Dean, i changed them in normal just left the rest as is for the mo, will keep having a play about, in better light, dont fancy firing it up in the house
I know it will be me missing something
You probably know about these settings already
@ianinlondon also mentioned in a separate video that the âniftyâ mode in Object Avoidance make the drone much less âskittishâ
Could it be that?
The only settings I didnt change was Sport mode. I used the same settings for my mini 4 Pro for normal and Cine modes as I have on my mini 3 Pro and it behaveâs pretty much the same.
