This happened to me the other night, I realised the issue was having the obstacle avoidance turned on.
Because it was relatively low and inside it was detecting multiple objects, so each control move I made either did not work or it just moved the drone slightly. It then moved higher very fast until it hit the ceiling.
Turn the obstacle avoidance off and you will be able to fly indoors with no issues.
