I saw them on book face yesterday and thought, my star wars mini figure collection, would look on top of a NEO
Cant take me eye off that Dji Neo
23 posts were split to a new topic: DJI Neo wonāt connect to Fly app / wonāt start
Just spotted DJI Neos at Currys are £119 with free delivery.
Put the code NEO50 in at checkout and it takes £50 off the listed price. Be rude not to give one a go at that price!
It is tempting but I canāt get away from how annoyingly noisy it seems to be in the reviews Iāve seen.
Itās all very well being sub-250g and being able to fly in built up areas, but not great if everyone in that built up area is going to want to murder you because of the noise
Luckily most of my neighbours are old and deaf.
I didnāt think it was any more noisier than my Avata - it does have a bit of a higher pitch shreek to it but itās not as bad as I have seen some social media posts claim it is - maybe my ears are just getting old
Maybe Master Airscrew will launch some stealth props for it - the ones for the Mini3/4 pro do have a decent impact on that high pitch tone to them from what I can tell.
@DJNelson
Thanks for the information about Currys. £119 just seemed impossible to refuse, especially when I learnt that I could use it with my RC2 controller (from my Air 3).
I chose āStandard deliveryā (3-5 working days) to get free delivery, but my order on Tuesday 28 Jan at 23:45 resulted in a delivery at 13:45 on Thursday 30 Jan - about a day and a half.
Everything had to be updated - the NEO OS, DJI Fly on the iPhone, the RC2 controller software (twice) and the FlySafe database - so there went an hour. Somehow, during this time I managed to spend another £32 to buy the DJI Care Refresh (2 Year Plan).
My only disappointment was finding that the NEO does not support 25fps - my chosen standard. Iām sure Iāll get over it.
Now I have to go back and watch all those YouTube films⦠Does anyone have a simple one-page written guide to what the NEO does, and how to do it?
If only I had an RC2 controller.
Indeed, it would be very rude not to. Thanks for the heads up.
Enjoy. Happy with mine. Particularly looking forward to using it for a bit of indoor footage.
Me too, with mine. Which I purchased the day itās was released, however Mrs.Binman has a different idea and wonāt allow it
Just do it! Itās great fun, especially if you have cats chasing it everywhere thinking itās a bee/bird cross. Has me in stitches.
It does so much in so many ways that I doubt it would fit on a page.
Ah we now know who wears the trousers in your house then
