Hi,
I got a Neo only yesterday package and charged the battery and today was first time I could try it . FORTUNATELY I attempted this over soft grass as on attempting to take off on Palm it flipped backwards onto the ground , if this had happened over hard concrete could be a different matter with damage .
On checking the rear right motor as you look facing the drone the rear right motor has a CW prop fitted to CCW motor . Shocking quality control do they not fly them before hand or check the prop orientation ?
It emphasises the point that it’s an aircraft, and as such should be subject to proper pre-flight checks by the user. And before anyone asks, yes I did check before flying on both my Mini 2 SE and the current Mavic Mini. The drones are assembled by humans, and humans are error-prone.
There’s no excuse for BMW to deliver a Mini to a car rental company, and for them to rent it out, without the front hub having a top ball-joint nut … which could have far bigger consequences … but it’s happened to me.
