DJI RC Pro 2 - General discussion

I think i know what you mean

I’ve seen generic cases with kinda precut foam filling the inside. Its a ‘case’ pun intended of picking out the cubes to fit whatever you want to store.

The rc 2 remote does look kinda sexy but i heard it doesnt support the dongle 2 which is a bit of a let down for me. That said, the mini 5 doesnt support it either..

Just watched a review on your controller

Im sure your a very nice person but you’ve earnt the ‘and the horse you rode in on’ comment from me..

Cant afford it cant afford it cant afford it…

Even if you could, I still don’t think they’re available to buy yet?

The RC Pro 2 is nearly twice the thickness as the RC 2, I currently have a Mavic 4 Pro case, might keep that and use it, it will take any controller, will just have to wrap the Mini 5 Pro up, it’ll look real tiny in the backpack lol

I didnt go so far as to check availability.
If i don’t see the ‘gimme’ button i cant click it..

I do wonder about using it across a few different models and that whole binding issue with swapping back and forth.

Nik

The RC pro 2 is only compatible with 5 drones

Mini 4 and 5 pro
Mavic 4 pro
Air 3
Air3S

I had it bound to mini 4 pro and Air3S and it was never a problem .
As long as i didnt want to fly them both at same time
:joy::joy:

Sounds promising.

Ill keep an eye on it’s updates and stuff.

The hardware looks great n all but i read it doesn’t support the dongle 2 running on the 4 which is currently one of the only advantages the 4 has over the 5. It’s useful if i want to ignore the rules and orbit behind a tower block or something similar.

How do you find the ‘additional app’ thing?
Is it like my rc plus 2 which runs various stuff like a proper browser, airdata etc

I’m not using any apps at moment.
But I opened firefox and searched airdata and all seems available

Wow,

That looks exactly like mine except i have pilot, not fly.

Very cool  ty

Yes it doesn’t work and they have no intention of making it work here in Europe

Figures

Apparently the 5 has in integrated esim??
Again, Apparently it only works in mainland china atm but I guess there is some potential there

Another noobie question.

Would it run litchi?

Don’t see why not, most Android apps work if sideloaded

Hmmm…

Nononono

Cant afford it Cant afford it Cant afford it

Not sure about affording one, they are out of stock everywhere too

Not that i checked

But yup, mid october…
