Dog Friends

Even more annoyingly, because my friend’s wife is dog-phobic I wasn’t going to be staying with them, and had booked camping .. non-refundable in the last 15 days.

Another cost on the weekend.

Bane of my life - my boy keeps sticking his head in the undergrowth and comes out looking like Shrek :man_shrugging:

Those were a fraction of them. All her feathering on all four legs and tail. She looked like she’d contracted an incurable disease.

Following on from my post regarding a recent visit to the vets. Results received via phone yesterday, booked in for chat with vet next week. The small lump has returned as a sarcoma, given it’s in the same place he had one removed with very large margins 18 months ago, an operation to remove seems unlikely (there’s not much left to pull to other to close up). He’s on steroid tablets as of now to slow it down. We (wifey and me) have to have a good think about going down the route of chemo/radiotherapy - 3 times a week (full days), general anaesthetic every time, emotional aspect both us and Darwin, his age, what quality of life without it etc

When i seen my local postman, i asked him if he could say hello to my puppy and he was happy to do so, which is great. Most of the time it is the owners fault for how dogs react to things, and to be honest some people i would not trust looking after the dead, even they would get up and leave

A photo of stan after he donated blood today, also he brought shadow, who was keeping an eye on things, to see how things work, and wondering if he can do this when he is older enough
