Hi Guy’s - I just want to know what existing FCC hacks you prefer for the Mini 2 - DT or DH ? Work in different ways and have different costs etc but is there one that is preferred to the other ? I use an Ipad as the device most often so IOS is a must .

I think for the less technically minded then Drone-Tweaks is the easiest, although you could still use Drone-Hacks for tweaking using the free element.

I use both for one reason or another, and both work just as well.

Haven’t used Drone Tweaks but its an annual subscription where as Dronehacks is a one of payment

The advantages of DH is it’s not just FCC but you remove the 500m height restrictions and DJIs no fly zones

As per the reply directly above your post - Drone Tweaks is an annual subscription, Drone Hacks is a one-off payment. As this is the Drone Hacks thread, I assume you’re referring to Drone Hacks, therefore the answer is that it’s a one-off payment

Drone Tweeks is Annual - but you can continue to use it - just not upgrade.

Just found a firmware update for fly app for my mini 2, not sure if I’m supposed to update the app firmware or just ignore any or all updates?

The fly app is not a firmware update but an app update

It should not matter but the app updates are not relevant to the Mini 2 any more

Dronehacks recommend version 1.5.10 or lower

I personally still use 1.4.2
